Goal

Make learning vocabulary a short game you come back to every day rather than homework. The player picks the language they speak and the one they want to learn; words are shown in their own language and the translation is requested.

What we did

  • Product design and content: 1,045 concepts with Turkish, English, German, Spanish and French equivalents, 25 categories, A1–B1 levels; word data generated from a single source and validated by script.

  • Nine game modes: flash cards, typing, anagrams, time attack, matching, listening, daily challenge, real-time duel and unit lessons.

  • Lesson path: 130+ units derived from categories and levels; review and “boss” rounds at the end of each chapter, chest rewards, a star system.

  • Technology: SwiftUI (iOS 17+), local storage with SwiftData and cross-device sync via CloudKit, Game Center leaderboards and achievements, 1-on-1 duels with GameKit, a WidgetKit home screen widget.

  • Revenue model: monthly/yearly Premium and a lifetime purchase with StoreKit 2, coin packs, rewarded ads; no game mode sits behind a paywall.

  • Store process: App Store Connect setup, in-app purchase definitions, privacy questionnaire, screenshots and review notes.

Highlights

All game rules and progress logic live in testable pure Swift modules; the UI only renders state. The widget and the app share one code base. Because word data and the lesson path are independent of the code, adding a language is content work, not engineering work.

Tell us what you want to do, and we will map the way.
